The STEER-HEI Project aims to mitigate the implicit biases and injustices that are present in existing health research practices. The main purpose of this project is to design an inequity-informed educational intervention that enables individuals to critically assess prejudicial norms within the healthcare community and understand how they are upheld, alongside equipping HEI members with the tools and resources needed to combat barriers faced by equity-deserving groups.
